quality assurance plan

 A plan that guarantees a quality approach and conformance to all customer requirements for all activities in a project.

quality assurance policy

 A policy governing the organization's quality assurance program or activities.

quality assurance program

 An organized set of Quality Assurance activities. See Quality Assurance.

quality assurance representative (qar)

 The individual directly charged with performance of the government procurement quality assurance function at a contractor facility.

quality audit

 A systematic and independent examination to determine whether quality activities and related results comply with planned arrangements, conform to specified standards and whether these arrangements are implemented effectively and are suitable to achieve objectives.
