time and material contract (t&m)
A contractual form in which the customer agrees to pay the contractor for
all time and material used on the project, including a fee as a percentage of
all project costs.
time and motion study
A study of the various motions in a piece of discrete and repeatable work
and the time involved in each element for purposes of reducing the overall time
or improving the procedure.
time based network
A linked bar chart, a bar chart that shows the logical and time
relationships between activities.
time box
The calendar limits within which an activity is required or expected to
occur.
time compression
The act of reducing the planned time for an activity, accomplished perhaps
by adding unplanned staff or using overtime..
time delay claim
A request for an extension to the contract dates.
