wage
Money paid as compensation for labor or services usually according to
contract and on an hourly, daily, or piecework basis.
waiver
A document stating a cancellation or reduction of a requirement.
Buyer action that grants contract relief from achieving specified
performance. Usually applied when the required performance is not worth the cost
and/or schedule to achieve full compliance.
walk-through
The examination of the quality of an operational
procedure or test by simulating the actual execution but bypassing high risk or
expensive operations. It ensures that personnel and equipment are ready to carry
out the real thing.
A peer group mentally stepping through software
design and logic flow with test cases to identify errors.
warranty
A promise or affirmation given by a contractor to the government regarding
the nature, usefulness, or condition of the supplies or performance of services
furnished under the contract.
