work load
The amount of work units assigned to a resource over a period of time.
work management
Techniques applied to the organization and conduct of work for purposes of
maintaining efficiency or effecting improvement.
work measurement
The use of labor-time standards to measure and control the time required to
perform a particular task or group of tasks.
work package (wp)
A generic term for a unit within a work breakdown structure (WBS) at the
lowest level of its branch, not necessarily at the lowest level of the whole
WBS. It may be used to refer to a unit of work performed within the
organization, while 'Commitment Package' may be used for work contracted or
purchased outside the organization.
An accountable item of work.
work package budgets
Resources which are formally assigned by the contractor to accomplish a
work package, expressed in dollars, hours, standards or other definitive
units.
