switzerland — cablecom launches 10mbps deal
Switzerland’s largest cable network operator Cablecom has announced the launch of its ‘hispeed 10000’ service offering download/upload speeds of 10Mbps/1Mbps for CHF65 (USD52) per month. As the same time the company, a subsidiary of Liberty Global’s UPC Broadband, announced the commercial launch of its IPTV offering, Live TV. Live TV comprises nine channels – SF1, SF2, RTL, ORF1, Pro7, ZDF Doku, Fashion TV, MTV and Eurosport – which are streamed at speeds of up to 1.5Mbps.
