bangladesh — rankstel builds links with ericsson
Bangladeshi fixed line operator Ranks Telecom (RanksTel), which provides WiLL services in the country’s north-east and south-east telecoms zones, has contracted Swedish vendor Ericsson to supply its MINI-LINK PDH microwave radio solution. The equipment will be used to help RanksTel expand its network coverage, with particular focus on the areas surrounding Comilla, Khulna, Bogra and Rajshahi. The agreement cements Ericsson’s role as sole supplier of transmission equipment to RanksTel.
