macedonia — mobilkom austria registers 'nov operator'
According to reports in the Macedonian journal Utrinski Vesnik, the Austrian mobile operator Mobilkom, which recently won the tender to become the third mobile operator in Macedonia, yesterday registered its new operating vehicle in the country, 'Nov Operator' (translates as New Operator). Mobilkom Austria must now pay EUR10 million for the licence by the end of the week, upon which the Agency for Electronic Communications will grant it a ten-year permit to operate the third mobile network.
