russia — synterra reports big rise in 1q profits
Russian wireline operator Synterra has reported a 55.1% rise in first-quarter net profits to RUB445.4 million (USD18.7 million). Revenue for the period reached RUB1.60 billion. Synterra offers long-distance and international telephony plus a range of data services using wired and fixed wireless infrastructure. It operates over a 44,000km national network.
