TelstraClear has launched a new IP-based telephony service for small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customers under the name IP Gateway. A report from the NZ Herald says the telco hopes IP Gateway will provide smaller businesses with an affordable, flexible data and phone service previously only available to large corporates. TelstraClear says the new system will cut costs and improve choice for SME users.
